CGCS believes the best way to learn about a company is hear from those that have worked with them. Not only is important for a club to understand what the current customers are saying, it is important to understand what past customers have said or will say after the company has come and gone. In this industry, it doesn’t always mean that a company did a bad job if they are no longer there. Circumstances like, a club looking for new direction with a change in boards or change in ownership may constitute a change. Other factors may be that a company had additional charges during the course of a year because the contract or standards were not sufficient to the expectations of the club and the club looks for a change of management.
There are many ways and reasons why a club may change and doing the proper due diligence with the companies that are being considered will go a long way in the mutual success of the club and the company that they hire.
