CGCS believes the best way to learn about a company is to hear from those that have worked with them. Not only is important for a club to understand what the current customers are saying, it is important to understand what past customers have said or will say after the company has come and gone. In this industry, it doesn’t always mean that a company did a bad job if they are no longer there. Circumstances like a club looking for new direction with a change in boards or change in ownership may constitute a change. Other factors may be that a company had additional charges during the course of a year because the contract or standards were not sufficient to the expectations of the club and the club looks for a change of management. There are many ways and reasons, why a club may change and doing the proper due diligence with the companies that are being considered, will go a long way in the mutual success of the club and the company that they hire. We invite you to read what our clients are saying about CGCS their experience with our company. Please feel free to call any of the customers listed and just ask and we will provide you with all of their contact information.
I bought my home in Highland Lakes. With that purchase came a membership to the club. After resigning as Golf Chair and a member of the Board of Governors at the Countryside Country Club, my 1st round at Highland Lakes was quite alarming. I can remember standing on the White #3 Tee and thinking, “Dodger you have made a big mistake”. Since then we have had our ups and downs, mostly downs. However, the improvements that have been made this year are very impressive. Simply put, our courses have never been better. Never. We now have golf courses that 99% of us can be proud to play. We would all be better off if moving vans were parked at the doors of that other 1%.
There is not a more knowledgeable, professional or respected person in Cypress Golf Course Services than Scott. He has an incredible work ethic and has the experience and leadership ability to accomplish and achieve results well beyond even the highest expectations. Scott has a keen eye for maximizing value and understanding the business side of golf. Scott’s courses always surpassed expected quality standards without going over budget – he gets the most out of his resources. I consider him to be one of the best in the country. His onsite crew is outstanding.
Scott Zakany and his company CGCS responded to my request for assistance during a critical time. Scott worked 7 days a week until he was on top of the situation and our emergency was over. I can’t say enough about their professionalism and the success they afforded us at the Longboat Key Club. I would highly recommend giving them consideration for your maintenance needs and you will not be disappointed. We wish them future success and someday, I am sure our paths will cross again.”
CGCS took over managing our golf course at Breckenridge Golf &Tennis Club three years ago. They have made subtle changes yearly enhancing our course. The greens and tees have improved yearly. This year the greens and tees, as well as the course, are in the best condition. They have enhanced the course yearly and our members are happy pleased with CGCS.
Many companies that have past relationships or failed contracts may not want for you to contact them or ask about the reasons why they parted ways. It is our intent to disclose all current and past clients for this very reason. Please feel free to contact any current or past clients by requesting their contact information thru our web-site.
